How to get

Dionisiou Beach is located in the Nea Propontida region on the Halkidiki mainland, nestled between Nea Moudania and Nea Flogita. Stretching nearly a kilometer, it remains uncrowded even in peak season, offering both equipped areas with “lounger for a drink” service and free sections for independent relaxation. Awarded the Blue Flag, Dionisiou boasts clean, clear waters, calm seas in the early part of the day, and sweeping views of majestic Mount Olympus. The beach is a mix of coarse sand and pebbles, though entry into the water can be tricky due to the rocky seabed. Newly planted palm trees add an exotic touch to the scenery.

Infrastructure

Dionisiou Beach doesn’t have changing rooms, showers, or restrooms directly on-site, though these are available at nearby establishments. Lifeguards are on duty along the shore, and there are a few tavernas and beach bars, as well as a children’s playground with swings and slides. Vacation apartments are also available for rent in the area.

ILIAS is a grill restaurant with parking where you can enjoy reasonably priced meat dishes, seafood, and desserts. Koutourou specializes in traditional Greek cuisine, with options like soutzoukakia, tsipouro with meze, shrimp saganaki, and tzatziki.

Nearby Amenities

Dionisiou Beach is a 10-minute drive from the resort town of Nea Moudania, the administrative center of Nea Propontida, which has more developed infrastructure, including hotels, tavernas, shops, and supermarkets. Visitors will find a range of entertainment here, with an open-air theater, museums, and nightclubs.

Just a few kilometers from Dionisiou Beach is the five-star Ikos Oceania resort, which operates on an all-inclusive basis. The resort provides a high level of service and an array of amenities, including spa treatments, pools, water sports, a private beach with facilities, and wine-tasting experiences.
