How to get

Pirgos Beach is located between the two "fingers" of Halkidiki — Sithonia and Athos — on the shore of the Singitic Gulf. This wild pebble beach was once known for its exotic beach bar that hosted festivals. Now, it's an abandoned and secluded spot where visitors can enjoy the clean waters and a deep entry into the sea. Nearby, there’s limited infrastructure — a guesthouse with friendly hosts and a garden, as well as apartments where you can enjoy views of the Aegean Sea and buy homemade olive oil.

Pirgos Beach is close to the small village of Develiki, which has a more expansive 4-kilometer-long sandy and rocky beach. It's a great place for those who love snorkeling and exploring marine life. There are two seasonal restaurants offering Greek dishes and fast food, and more accommodation options are available in the area.

For more developed infrastructure and entertainment, you can visit Ierissos, just a 20-minute drive away. The town offers a variety of shops and supermarkets, including Lidl, as well as specialty stores selling local products like honey, wine, olive oil, jewelry, and souvenirs. Ierissos is also great for families, with its clean sandy beaches, cafés with children's menus, and small playgrounds.

If you're planning a relaxing vacation without much traveling, Ierissos provides everything you need for a comfortable stay. Its long seafront promenade is perfect for strolls, and the many hotels and villas offer comfortable accommodation options.
