How to get

Sani area is renowned for its extraordinary beaches, one of which is Simantro. It combines the serenity of nature with the convenience of nearby amenities.

About Simantro Beach

Popularly acclaimed as the ideal location for a beach holiday in Halkidiki, Simantro beach is composed of mils of pristine sand, captivating scenery and lush greenery. For those who seek complete privacy, there are uncultivated beaches situated to the south of the hotel, with forests and rocks which provide picturesque views of the sea and coast. Even for families with children, the shore has shallow, sandy waters where they can safely play.

Infrastructure

Simantro beach is a perfect spot for those wishing to enjoy their privacy amidst great amenities. Sun loungers and umbrellas can be rented, and beach towels are provided for a deposit. Moreover, volleyball courts are available for those seeking active recreation, and there are activities for the whole family to enjoy, as well as diving lessons for beginners. A beach bar is open from morning till night, serving coffee, snacks, and desserts. So, if you’re seeking a blissful escape, come to Simantro with your towel and take in all the perks!

What to do nearby

The ruins of the roman estate of Megali Kips, found in 1972, can be seen close to the beach. Once a luxurious villa, pottery workshops and mosaics, as well as an early christian church, these buildings had similar architectural designs from the roman period. Unfortunately, now only the foundations remain.

Visiting Simantro can be coupled with a journey to Siviri, a coastal municipality 15 km from the shoreline. The latter has all the facilities one might need: hotels, stores, and supermarkets.

Simantro is situated on the north-western coast of Kassandra peninsula, at a distance of 85 km from the city of Thessaloniki. The Simantro beach hotel, which serves as a point of reference, is in close proximity to the beach. The most convenient way to reach the beach is by a rented car from Thessaloniki. Alternatively, a taxi or a transfer can be booked with a fee of around 85 euros. If, however, you are already staying at one of the villages of Kassandra, you can call a taxi to get there.

Tips

The amenities and facilities are all being catered to by the hotel. This beach is quite far away from any towns or cities.

Simantro beach is renowned for its astounding sunsets, so it would be sensible to stay until the nightfall.
