Have you ever dreamt to wake up on the beach? If you do, then you should necessarily include Tristinika Beach in your travel route about Sithonia. A long sandy shore, the turquoise waters, and, above all, an opportunity to stay alone with nature. An exotic bay is fenced with rocks and a pine-tree forest on both sides.

Tristinika is a wild beach that is partially equipped for recreation. It provides all the basic facilities for a short stay. You will find no difficulty in finding a place to pitch a tent or place a travel trailer right on the shore. Tristinika beach bar will offer you some of the advantages of modern civilization.

The peculiarities of Tristinika Beach Halkidiki

A wide sandy shore, the blue sea, pristine nature, and spectacular sunsets – that is how Tristinika Beach attracts its visitors. The total length of the beach is about 1.5 kilometers. In some areas, its width exceeds 50 meters. You can easily find enough space here even on a high tourist season.

Most area of Tristinika provides no equipment for relaxation. We highly recommend that you bring beach umbrellas, sunbeds, and blankets with you. Furthermore, do not forget to take care of sunscreen: you will hardly find a shaded nook here. Regarding drinks and snacks, you can order them at the nearest bar, but get ready for high prices.

The entry into the sea is mildly sloping. At the same time, the depth is rapidly increasing to two meters. You will not find shallow waters here – you should keep that in mind while planning a family vacation.

Tristinika provides a little choice of hotels and apartments. You should better look for accommodation facilities at the nearby settlements: Toroni, Paradisos, Porto Carras, and Neos Marmaras.

Facilities for entertainment in Tristinika Beach Sithonia

On the western coast of Tristinika, you can find Ethnik, a beach bar that is extremely popular with youth. It has a rich choice of cocktails and snacks on the menu. Furthermore, it provides sunbeds, beach umbrellas, and parking area for its guests. The atmosphere of Ethnik is usually calm and relaxing. Sometimes, it also arranges loud parties for its guests.

During a stay in Tristinika, travelers can go in for kayaking or rent a board for paddleboarding.

There are no tubes, catamarans, water scooters, and other facilities of r water sports here.

There is a campsite area IZA in the east part of the beach. It features a parking lot, a tavern, a mini-market, and the volleyball and basketball grounds.

Some vacationers prefer to put their tents along the shore, without using the services of a camping site.

There is also a tavern Dimitris right next to the beach. It specializes in traditional Greek cuisine. The tavern also provides a parking area.

The Tristinika Bay is situated 4 kilometers away from the settlement of Toroni, sitting a little farther from Destenika Beach. This destination cannot be accessed via public transport. You can get here only by rented or private vehicles. Pull off the main road according to the road signs and take a 15-minute ride along the unpaved road.

If you are going to travel from Thessaloniki, we can offer you the following options:

  • to hire a car, to call for a taxi or book a transfer. The ride will take you about 2 hours (136 km);
  • to catch a scheduled bus to get to the K.T.E.L. Halkidikis bus station, where you will need to make a change for a direct bus to Neos Marmaras. Upon arrival, you can rent a scooter or a motorbike. A trip to the beach will take you about 25 minutes (18 km).

There are two more beaches in close vicinity to Tristinika: Aretes and Azapiko.

Tips

  • Although Tristinika is a wild beach, the bar on its shore often holds loud parties on the high tourist season. Thus, if you want to unwind within a tranquil environment, you should better come here in June or September;
  • The beach is partially equipped. It provides a limited number of sunbeds and beach umbrellas on the high tourist season. That is why it will be much better if you take all the necessary facilities with you;
  • If you decide to hire a car, you should choose the vehicle with a high grade of clearance to move along local country roads.
